Chief Financial Officer

The CFO reports to the company president and CEO and serves as a member of the management of the Company. The CFO serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO in leading critical and strategic decisions in a growing and changing environment. The CFO is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the corporation, including budget, financing, record-keeping and development of standards of financial performance, controls and disclosures. The CFO manages the accounting, tax and treasury activities as well as IT, operations and investor relations/communication. The CFO is also responsible for financial reporting to the board.

Job Description

  • Assist the CEO in developing and implementing the company strategy and take an active role in leading strategic activities
  • Assist in performing activities necessary to achieve the organization’s mission and goals
  • Develop and execute capital-raising strategies in line with the Company’s goals and strategy
  • Develop performance measures that support the Company’s strategic direction
  • Assist in development of new businesses in business development efforts
  • Develop and implement the organization’s financial goals and strategy
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team as well as IT team, Israeli operational team and corporate Investor Relations and communications.
  • Act as financial gatekeeper – manage company budget and business planning, supervise cash management activities, oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks
  • Evaluate the benefit of organizational activities on behalf of the CEO and support the executive management in decision making and execution of those activities
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems, policies and standards and ensure underlying accounting records are accurate, complete and in accordance with regulation
  • Lead investor and public relations/corporate communications – interact with external partners and stakeholders and ensure corporate Investor Relations materials fits the corporate strategy and activities

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience
  • Past experience as CFO of US traded public company or VP finance in a large US traded public company
  • Demonstrates leadership and authority
  • Independent, multitasking, efficient and systematic
  • Ability to manage internal and external interfaces within a global company
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level English skills
